"In My Life"

There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
 Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

In My Life is 1965 song by legendary rock band The Beatles which was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. This song is one of the highlights songs of the Rubber Soul album. It’s also my most favorite song of The Beatles’s because for me, this song is a well-written romantic love song ever.

In my opinion, this song is like a full package telling about life, love, memories, friendship and family. As we living our life, there are lovers, families and friends who always accompany and support us wherever we are. This song is telling how much precious they are.

When the song telling that “In my life I’ve loved them all. In my life I love you more. It means that in the end of our life, when everybody we were close before, busy with their own business or they live far away from us or maybe they’re no longer alive, we only have one love of our life. That is a lover.

What makes this song more romantic is because it feels like it is written for someone special. When it comes to the second lyric of the second paragraph, “But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you,
” feels like that “You” is a truly someone special.

Back to the first paragraph of the song. It’s telling that no matter how many you love people around you, in the end there will be just certain people that will stay by your side. But mostly every people we knew, had their own moment, situation, places or anything. Some moment were important so it’s hard for us to forget but some moment went on just like that without any special things to remember.

Talking about the life time, which we all know that time is never stop. Keep going no matter what happen. We’re all growing unconsciously fast and leave everything behind. We’re moving forward trying to be a better person. Trying to find our self-concept and reach higher stage of life.

“Keep going no matter what”

We leave people we used to know, people we used to laugh with, because everybody has changed. So does place we used to hangout, they’re changed. It’s all just memories now.

The last paragraph of the song is the most favorite one. It tells that how much the writer love their lover. “Though I know I’ll never lose affection. For people and things that went before. I know I’ll often stop and think about them. In my life I love you more. In my life I love you more.

They mentioned it twice just to tell that how much they love their lover more than anything else. It’s so relatable to life because sometimes even though we always have affection from everybody else, we only love certain people more.

The sound of the music is really good. Drowning us to the lyrics and the sound. The accompaniment of the piano makes the song more cozy to be listened and lingering all day long.

May your soul be as beautiful as this song “In My Life”
